As you are aware our U.S. Representative Tom Rooney will be leaving Congressional District 16 (due to redistricting) to run for election in newly formed District 17. Representative Rooney made the commitment to address our Council of Chambers prior to making that decision. After the redistricting issue decision he offered to step aside in as much as he wouldn't be representing our district any longer, which we immediately put to rest. Congressman Rooney suggested he invite Congressman Alan West, a candidate for our newly designed District 18, to attend the lunch. Congressman West agreed and is confirmed to also be at the lunch.
