Consider Donating Your Time and Your Children’s Clothing
Caring Children Clothing Children(The 4Cs) is a charity that gathers gently used clothes to provide for the clients that visit our store, along with new socks, underwear and school shoes. These items, along with books and stuffed animals are offered at no cost to children in need in our community. Recently, clothing contributions are down, as are the number of people who are volunteering in our store, while the number of children visiting our store is holding steady. Please consider volunteering a few hours of time each month.
Last year we had over 5,300 child visits to our store. With summer fast approaching, and an unstable economy, the 4Cs store will be busier than ever in the upcoming months. With many of our dedicated volunteers leaving us for the summer season, we are looking for some new volunteers to get involved with us. Please consider donating a few hours of time each month over the summer.
We do accept clothing contributions at the store or in the donation bins at twelve Martin County schools. Items that are critically low include: boys pants and shorts, sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18, both girls and boys toddler sizes, books and stuffed animals.
As you clean out your children’s or grandchildren’s closets, books shelves and stuffed animal bins, please consider giving the unused clothing to the 4Cs so that we can assist our children in meeting a basic need and help them look and feel better about themselves. Caring Children Clothing Children is located at the crossroads of Monterey Road and Kanner Highway.
Please drop donations in bins at local schools, in Palm City: Bessey Creek Elem., Citrus Grove Elem., Palm City Elem. and Hidden Oaks Middle. In Stuart: Pinewood Elem., The Pine School, Redeemer Lutheran, or Anderson Middle. In Hobe Sound: Seawind Elem. and in Jensen Beach: Felix Williams Elem. or Jensen Beach Elem. You may also call to schedule a time to drop off your donations at our store: 772-221-8777.
