| The Palm City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the 2008-2009 Adopt-A-Class campaign has begun. The Education Committee is thrilled and honored to commit our time and focus to one of the most successful programs for academic enhancement in Martin County. With the continued support of our dedicated community partners, sponsors, parents and area businesses, the students and teachers in Palm City and Martin County area schools have benefited from contributions totaling more then $750,000.00 over the last 16 years.
I would like to encourage everyone to participate in meeting the critical challenges facing our schools in these hard economic times. As leaders in the business community, it is our responsibility to focus on preparing our children and students for the ever-changing work environment of which they will soon be a part.
While we do not set a monetary goal, we seek to enhance the quality of our children’s education by achieving 100% sponsorship of all classrooms & programs in the community. We encourage you to be involved and make a difference in our community and in the lives of our children. Your $200.00 contribution is worth volumes to a classroom teacher – volumes of books, programs and so much more! The Education Committee would also like to strongly encourage all donors to consider sponsoring other programs that benefit the children, such as music, art, physical education, media and computer classes, all of which play an important role in a child’s education. Please join us in reaching our goal!
The Adopt-A-Class program is an excellent means to reach out to your community and invest in our students. We encourage you to become our partner in education and to make a difference in the lives of our children, who will one day be our future community and business leaders.
Please complete the adoption form and mail it to the Palm City Chamber of Chamber, 880 SW Martin Downs Blvd., Palm City, Florida 34990 along with your contribution of $200.00. For more information on the Adopt-A-Class program, please contact Michele Radcliffe at 772.286.8121.
Sincerely,
Linda Probst
Education Committee Chairperson
